Team USF had a few spokes on their wheel motor let go during the first race causing them to hit the pits for some repairs<\/p>\n<p>Race 1 leaders in each division were:<\/p>\n<p>Plant City High School car 210 with 87 completed laps<a href=\"http:\/\/electrathonoftampabay.org\/www\/?attachment_id=4987\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4987\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4987 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/electrathonoftampabay.org\/www\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/2020-10-03-HCC-PCHS-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/electrathonoftampabay.org\/www\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/2020-10-03-HCC-PCHS-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/electrathonoftampabay.org\/www\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/2020-10-03-HCC-PCHS-768x576.jpg 768w, http:\/\/electrathonoftampabay.org\/www\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/2020-10-03-HCC-PCHS-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tiger Racing car 4 with 102 completed laps in the open division<a href=\"http:\/\/electrathonoftampabay.org\/www\/?attachment_id=4985\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4985\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4985 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/electrathonoftampabay.org\/www\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/2020-10-03-HCC-Rodney-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/electrathonoftampabay.org\/www\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/2020-10-03-HCC-Rodney-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/electrathonoftampabay.org\/www\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/2020-10-03-HCC-Rodney-768x576.jpg 768w, http:\/\/electrathonoftampabay.org\/www\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/2020-10-03-HCC-Rodney-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>USF car 48 with 63 completed laps in the advanced battery division<a href=\"http:\/\/electrathonoftampabay.org\/www\/?attachment_id=4989\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4989\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4989 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/electrathonoftampabay.org\/www\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/2020-10-03-HCC-USF-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/electrathonoftampabay.org\/www\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/2020-10-03-HCC-USF-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/electrathonoftampabay.org\/www\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/2020-10-03-HCC-USF-768x576.jpg 768w, http:\/\/electrathonoftampabay.org\/www\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/2020-10-03-HCC-USF-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The second race of the day went well for most teams, HCC continued to have battery issues, Silver Bullet had throttle issues in the first few laps of the race, and USF made it through the entire race with more spoke issues that gave the driver a bumpy ride for quite a few laps.<\/p>\n<p>Race 2 leaders in each division were:<\/p>\n<p>Plant City High School car 210 with 101 completed laps<\/p>\n<p>Tiger Racing car 4 with 101 completed laps in the open division<\/p>\n<p>USF car 48 with 100 competed laps in the advanced battery division<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the race day:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/photos.app.goo.gl\/Au68pMwPmKYGAaxz6\">https:\/\/photos.app.goo.gl\/Au68pMwPmKYGAaxz6<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Plant City HS took 1<sup>st<\/sup> Place in the High School Division with 188 laps<\/p>\n<p>USF took 1<sup>st<\/sup> Place in the Advanced Battery Division with 163 laps<\/p>\n<p>Tiger Racing (Rodney Schreck) took 1<sup>st<\/sup> Place in the Open Division with 203 laps<\/p>\n<p>Silver Bullet Racing (Jim Robinson) took 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Place in the Open Division with 200 laps<\/p>\n<p>Titans (Brady Weber) took 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Place in the Open Division with 191 laps<\/p>\n<p>HCC took 4<sup>th<\/sup> Place in the Open Division with 52 laps<\/p>\n<p>Our next race will be at Plant City High School on November 7, 2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Electrathon of Tampa Bay\/Electrathon of Florida held the second event of the 2020-2021 race season on October 3, 2020 at Hillsborough Community College (HCC) in Brandon Florida.
