We held our first STEM Electrathon Event of the 2026 – 2027 season at Mulberry High School on Saturday, September 19th.
We thank everyone for their help getting set up before the race and cleaned up after the race.
The teams arrived, got their pit areas set up so Mike Ralph could inspect their cart(s).

We welcome Dunbar HS Tiger Engineering to our STEM competitions.
Trish made homemade chocolate chip/chunk cookies, Thank you Trish
Teams met with Race Officials for the drivers meeting
Our first race of the day had 11 carts line up.
The green flag dropped and teams found their path on the course.
The first race went really well until Kirkland cart 83 and Silver Bullet cart 94 decided to trade love taps, sending both up onto the grass. KRAI 83 bent their tie rod, and Silver Bullet had their chain come off. Both drivers were fine.
A few teams traded love taps throughout the race. Lyman’s new cart 24 and Dunbar’s cart 17 performed very well for their first race with us.
We apologize to the Dunbar HS/Tiger Engineering team for all the transmitter issues in both races. Our founder, Ken Fiallos is trying to figure out what is going on, whether it’s a reflection off of the roll bar paint or the reflection from driver’s helmet. We will get it resolved for your next visit to race with us.

In between races teams worked on their carts and had lunch.
It was great seeing our Founder, Ken Fiallos back at the races. Hope to see him at more events this year.
Our second race had 11 carts lineup.
The green flag dropped and the competition was intense between the teams. ATR 11 came up on a slower moving Mulberry 100 and had to take steps to avoid them causing ATR 11 to make impact with the curb, breaking the tie rod and ending their race day. Driver is okay but cart will need repairs.
Teams had issues with tires causing them to lose laps that changed race standings.
