On Saturday, January 25th, we held our first race in 2025 at Mulberry High School.
It started out very cold for us, 34 degress at 6am. The wind wasnt horrible but it was enough to get deep into your body. When the sun came out, everyone appreciated its warm feeling.
We thank Mulberry High School Sponsor Todd Thuma, his team and his Administration for hosting our event.
We thank Trish for the homemade cookies. We thank Ken and Charlie for the donuts. The teams arrived and got their cars inspected by Mike.
We welcome Allan, Peter, students, parents and friends from Palm Beach 4-H Association (Tech Garage) that brought three cars to our event. Very impressive and organized team, we hope to see them at future events.
Teams met with race officials for the drivers meeting. We had 13 cars line up for the first race of the day.
The green flag dropped, and teams found their path on the course. A few teams had issues with their cars but overall, the race went well. Tech Garage car 228 had a wheel axle shear, ending their racing for the day.
