We held our 2025-2026 Race Season awards banquet at Mulberry High School on Saturday, May 9th.
We made sure everyone received a ticket for the door prizes and started calling numbers until they were all gone.
We thank Todd Thuma and his Administration for allowing us the use of their facilities.
We thank everyone that assisted in getting the cafeteria ready for the banquet, especially Trish, Torie and Dawn. The table arrangements, serving area and awards area were awesome.
The end of year awards turned out very nice.
We thank CARTER’S BAR-B-QUE for delivering our banquet meal.

We thanked everyone for their support over the years and hope that they continue to support/attend our events.
We recognized all the parents and friends that support us by attending the events.
We recognized our high school seniors that are graduation this year, we wished them success in their future and an opportunity to continue to be a part of our organization by volunteering or starting a team at the college they are attending.
High school teams that have participated at 50% or more ETO season events are asked (sponsor) to select a student of the Year for their team. This year we had three high school teams with outstanding students.
Kirkland Ranch Academy of Innovation
Sponsor David Kocher
Student of the Year Wojciech WasiolekGodyn
Wojciech, and his family, have been to every race this season and have been a big help before, during, and after the races. He stays after school if needed to prepare and will get the trailer unloaded and setup if no one else has arrived to help out. I think he learned a lot from his experience (and mistakes) last season, and he is now a lead driver for the #555. He has been a big part of our success again this season and I have enjoyed having him and his family part of our team.
Lyman High School
Sponsor David Moye
Student of the Year Caleb Evans
Caleb has been a four-year student with Lyman and has been doing Electrathon for the past two years. He has been one of our primary drivers as well as working on the vehicle. He has always been happy to do what’s needed whether that is packing the trailer or building our new trailer. Thank you Caleb.
Lyman Sponsor Dave Moye recognized his counterpart Tom Lapierre for his dedication to the students, their team, their school and for being there for him to make Electrathon fun for all.
Mulberry High School
Sponsor Todd Thuma
Jeffrey Seaborn
Although I have 6 seniors graduating this year, it was a difficult decision to select my student of the year. Jeffery has shown a great deal of growth in the 4 years he has been a part of Panther Racing. I have watched him grow into the Crew Chief position, managing other students at races and keeping the cars running and ready to race. I will miss him and his colleagues graduating this year.
Mulberry High School Sponsor Todd Thuma recognized his graduating seniors and gave them tokens to remember their time at Mulberry High School.
We asked the Mulberry seniors to help ETO present Sponsor Todd Thuma with a special gift. Todd is known for his ability to ask about awards/trophies/special things for those outside the top three positions. ETO found a special “Gag Gift” (Gag gifts are humorous, often items designed to make people laugh at gatherings) for Todd.
We recognized Patricia Ralph (Trish) for everything she does for ETO. Trish builds the trophies for each race, makes cookies and brownies for everyone, helps with set up, registration, line up safety check, scoring, clean up and plans additional activities such as our end of year awards banquet to name a few. Thank You Trish
We recognized Dawn Swanson for everything she does; she is always there to assist on race day. Whether it’s setting up before the race, doing registration, verifying that all the waivers are turned in to cleaning up after the race or banquet to name a few. Thank You Dawn
We recognized Mike Ralph for everything he does. Mike does anything and everything. He and Trish build the trophies for each race and end of year banquet, sets up at every race, does inspections, serves as race steward and makes sure that all the equipment is back in the ETO trailer and secured for transporting to name a few. Thank You Mike
It is always a pleasure to see Miss Charlotte at our events. She comes out with a big smile, cute sayings and assists Grandma Trish & Grandpa Mike with anything they do. We try to provide her with stickers at each race so that she can spread her cute smile and stickers to everyone she meets. We gave her a box of sidewalk Chaulk so she could continue to draw all her cute pictures.
We recognized Miss Charlotte’s mom (Torie) that works behind the scenes to get teams back out on the track, organized the door prizes for our banquet, helped blow up the ballons and set up table arrangements and supports ETO every chance she gets, when she isn’t working.
Each year we monitor the teams to see who has had a rough season. We present them the “I Broke Mine Award”. This season Mulberry High School faced a number of challenges at each race. The students are amazing; they take each challenge sometimes more than one at a time, work through them and keep pushing forward. At times you can see frustration in their actions, but they never give up. Awesome team and Sponsor.
Our season points are awarded to a team for each race they participate in. Each race day a team could receive up to 40 points for two first place race finishes. Points are reduced the lower the rank in place for a race. Since Electrathon is focused on educating students using science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), we award the top season point’s winner a trophy.

Our first Electrathon Event (workday) for the 2026 2027 Season, will be held on August 22, 2026, at Kirkland Ranch Academy of Innovation.
The workday is held each year so the teams can finish working on their car(s), test them and have ETO do a pre-season inspection for safety etc. We ask that teams help each other to get all cars ready for the race season.
Our first race of the season will be held on September 19th at Mulberry High School.
